"To The Future, With An Elevator"

On 25 October, our company was invited by Tartu University to present the salt cocoon at the seminar for entrepreneurs called "To The Future, With An Elevator". The seminar was organized by the Enterprise Estonia. The Enterprise Estonia funded our innovation project with Tartu University in order to study the characteristics of the salt aerosol, produced by IIRIS-136 salt generator, inside the salt cocoon. In result of the project, we have an updated version of IIRIS-136 with 3 pre-set regimes of operation. Each regime provides different salt aerosol concentrations.

At the seminar, people could familiarize themselves with Saltarium salt cocoon.

I gave an interview to the Estonian Public Broadcasting about the project, about salt therapy and about the salt cocoon - an innovative device for personal salt therapy.

Even quite tall men can fit into the salt cocoon

  1. " In result of the project, we have an updated version of IIRIS-136 with 3 pre-set regimes of operation. Each regime provides different salt aerosol concentrations." So what are they? What's the difference between 1-2-3 and how it's being reflected on patients conditions?

  2. Like said above, each regime provides different salt aerosol concentrations within the range 0-16 mg/m3. For different illnesses, different concentrations are recommended.

  3. But what are these recommendations, based on what? Can it really provide a concentration at 0 (zero, no salt at all?) level, why is it good and for which disorder?

I got allergic asthma and running nose. How often shall I take salt therapy sessions in the cocoon and what shall be durations? What will be the concentration in the salt cocoon? What shall I do if suddenly feel bad? What shall I feel while sitting inside? Shall I continue taking my pills when I take salt treatment?

  4. These recommendations are given based on the medical research which has been done so far (in Russia).
With your health condition, I would recommend you to try nr 1 regime for 3 days, 1 session per day. After 3 sessions we check how you feel and how it goes. All people are different...some are more sensitive and some are less. Some feel reaction immediately and some do not. If you feel no difference after 3 sessions, we might try regime nr 2. Surely you should continue taking your pills.

  5. So you say that regime nr. 1 is good for my runny nose and asthma which are absolutely different conditions. Are you a doctor? Why you are not specifinng what these regimes are, what is a difference in fact? You wrote that one of the regimes is a Zero concentration, why this is good? Can you show at least one scientific publication from Russia, where it says that with my conditions regimes 1 and 2 will be usefull? Or any scientific publication?

  6. You said "For different illnesses, different concentrations are recommended." Runny nose and asthma are different illnesses, why do you recommend 1 regime for two different disorders?
You said "If you feel no difference after 3 sessions, we might try regime nr 2." What does it mean "might try" and what shall I feel, what is "no difference"? Are you a doctor?

  7. If a person has asthma and runny nose, it is recommended to administer the regime which is meant for asthmatics. Of course, if you have only runny nose, I would recommend higher regime. But if you have asthma as well, we need to derive from that. I am not a doctor but our company has been dedicated to salt therapy since 1998. We cooperate with doctors and doctors may always decide differently, depending on each individual case.
